Baby Shower!

On Sunday, we had our baby shower! It was sooo much fun! Ashley, Mom, and Gamaw hosted it at Ashley's house. Special thanks to Jason for all of his honey-dos to get the house looking more beautiful than ever! And now about the shower... it was amazing! They did a safari theme, which was perfect because that's the style of the baby's room. It was all decorated so perfectly. Then there was the food... OMG! What a spread! There was sooo much food, and all of my favorites! (They know me so well). We're talking Olive Garden Salad, Le Madeleine Tomato basil Soup, tortilla soup with all the fixins, shrimp and avocado dip with crunchies, chicken salad sandwiches, cheese, fruit, salmon dip, S'mores!, cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and even the Sangria Tea was excellent! (I'm sure I'm missing some things too). It waas all so good. And we had a great turn-out. All my favorite ladies were there... and Rick even showed up! I had no idea he was going to be there. Jason was on kid and dog duty in his beautifully landscaped back yard. And ohh the gifts we got! There was so much baby stuff! I am totally set now. I was starting to get worried too because before this shower, I had nothing... not even a crib. I stayed home yesterday to rest (I was exhausted) and put all my precious baby stuff neatly into the room. That was a lot of fun too. Poor Zoe was very apprehensive that I was going to dress her in baby clothes!
