Ready or not, here it comes!

So I had another check-up yesterday. This time after examining me, instead of being told I would (typically) be a week late, she said 'well... you MIGHT make it to 38 weeks.' Guys, 38 weeks is the day after Christmas!!! OMG! I was not expecting that! She said she could actually feel the head (-1 station) and I'm slightly dilated but she didn't want to stir anything up in there. She told me to take it really easy for the next week because we sure don't want a baby before 37 weeks. I'm at 36 weeks now. She also said my pelvis is forward and she thinks the baby will be rather small, 6.5 or 7 pounds. That's good news. Well, if it does come early, at least we will get a tax break this year!
