I had another check-up yesterday and the results of all tests came back perfect. My blood pressure. Glucose, hemoglobin count, HCT count,and the baby's heart beat were all beautiful. AND the best news - the baby's head is in 'position' already which means it will not be breached! She also did a partial ultrasound to see the head and we could see that the cord was not around its head. What a relief. We have such a smart baby! One other thing she said is that she expects me to be 8 days late. If the baby holds out for 9 days then it will share Big Daddy's birthday. That would be awesome but, wow, what big shoes to live up to!
All of this wonderful news has helped to build my confidence in delivering naturally. I just giggled in excitement the whole way home!
